public Relations Team―
the PR team manages all of the church's social media accounts and ensures that important information, and content from events and weekly services, are shared with the public.
from the instagram and facebook posts, to the worship and sermon videos on youtube, to the Sunday service livestreams– our creative PR team members work behind the scenes to capture ROLF family's memories, to tell our people's stories through pictures, videos, and graphics, and ultimately to share His Word.

we're a group of students with one mission―to pray & reach the youth.
there's no doubt that God has plans for the young ones. every other week, on tuesdays & thursdays, our students gather in public spaces. crew nights are small group gatherings that facilitate relevant, bible-centered conversations and fellowship. yth nights are monthly worship & fellowship experiences created just for the young people.

to be a "catalyst" means to anticipate radical change.
as young adults, we long for college-aged individuals to recognize their identity in Jesus, because extraordinary change happens when we walk in divine purpose. every wednesday night at 7:30pm, we meet at church upstairs for worship, prayer, and biblical conversations about kingdom lifestyles. join us at catalyst nights.

river of life fellowship philippines was established in 2013, mainly in response to the catastrophic, super-typhoon "haiyan" that struck the philippines on november that same year. thousands of people, including young children, were suddenly thrown into homelessness and poverty―but nonetheless, god had greater plans.
while attending river of life fellowship in south texas, church leaders tess & boboy yongson felt called to return to the city of leyte, philippines and start a children's ministry. at the heart of a disaster-struck region, their mission aimed to provide relief (food, clothing, education) while facilitating encounters with Jesus.
a city of calamity soon transformed into a beacon of hope. more children & families were introduced to God. eventually, the children's ministry grew into a church, and a building was officially established a few years after. all for God's glory.
if you are interested in partnering with river of life fellowship―philippines, feel free to give below. all donations made through this page will bless our church missions branch in the philippines (to give to river of life fellowship―texas, head to the "giving" page).
pastor tess yongson―
with heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce that pastor tess yongson has left to be with the Lord on june 22, 2020 at 5:30am (philippines time). tess carried a motherly anointing and a burning passion for God. from her patients, co-workers, and nursing students to our church community, she impacted numerous people—and her influence didn’t stop there.
tess and her husband, boboy yongson, founded river of life fellowship—philippines after being called to return to leyte, philippines following a natural disaster in 2013. since then, they have relentlessly pursued their mission of providing relief in their region while facilitating encounters with Jesus.
yongson’s bold step of faith towards God’s call to minister in the philippines continues to encourage us. her legacy carries on with the countless lives she touched. tess galapon yongson, thank you for teaching us how to truly love like Jesus. we mourn with and pray for your family and pastor boboy. we love and miss you.

we believe that the people are God's church.
together, we were called to break bread in each other's homes, celebrating Jesus and growing collectively in spirit & truth. as iron sharpens iron, intentional discipleship at a group level enables individuals to mature spiritually & strengthen divine relationships. every week, our numerous small group leaders around the region host meetings at homes, coffee shops, parks, and everywhere else. with around 5-20 people, worship, prayer, & discussions about God's word are facilitated.
if you haven't gotten connected yet, feel free to contact a small group leader (or anyone at church―almost everyone is involved in a small group).
in light of the recent corona virus pandemic, our small groups leaders won't be hosting in-person gatherings. feel free to check with your group if any virtual calls were organized via zoom, skype, ect. feel free to join our church-wide online facebook group for more info.
